The working width of the silage roller is 3 meters and the diameter of the roller itself is 820 mm. These dimensions ensure a sufficiently high compressive force in the silage and compress the green mass with high quality. The roller drum is hydraulically operated in both directions. This solution allows access to any trench wall and compaction of the silage over the entire width of the trench. The special wheels mounted on the sides roll gently over the surface of the wall and do not damage both the metal structure of the silage roller and the walls of the trench. It is important to mention that the diameter of the silage roller discs is 1140 mm.
